Setting up my Ooma today
Finally after sitting in the box for almost two years I have gone through the steps to set up my Ooma Phone System. For those who don’t know Ooma is like having your own little Verizon system in your home. No more monthly bills. You actually own the phone system. I just ported my number so now I really own my number rather than renting it from one of the big phone carriers.
Now that I own my phone number I am going to set it up tonight. I am very excited to see how it works. So long to my monthly bills. I was one of 50 people to win the Ooma system in a web contest on TechCrunch on July 17, 2007. I believe you can purchase an Ooma system for around $220 at Best Buy. Just think savings and cool technology.
