When music hits you feel no pain is a powerful quote by Bob Marley. It rings so true. We all get down and the one thing that makes us feel good is music. Of course, some songs are painful but an upbeat tune can fuel you like no other. When I am feeling blah I turn on live phish shows.
Phish is known as the hippy jam band but this is far from the truth. They are the most talented musicians in the world. I was at a bar last week and on came some great Phish tunes from a live CD and I acted like the bar was empty and danced on every beat. It was incredible and everyone was jealous because they wanted to feel as free as me but they couldn’t because they don’t feel what I feel when I hear phish. The bartender, was down, a huge Phish fan and he was jamming out behind the bar feeding me dollar bills to keep the juke box going.
