2010 Tech Prediction #2
Microsoft Office 2010 will fail. Failure to Microsoft still generates billions of dollars. Everyone has Office 2007 already and not much has changed since 2007. Office 2007 can run easily on the Windows 7 Operating System. Also, online services such as Google Documents are making a run at the Office application program. I have been using Google Docs for many years now but I have to say Microsoft Office is still better. Its just easier to format. I prefer to have my “important” files on my hard drive verses having them on Google’s servers. However, people care about price and might be willing to settle for services like Google Documents. I believe Office 2010 will be adopted at the same pace as Vista has been during the last few years.
